How It All Began

In 1991 Tiva Jo Herbert, age 2, and with only a few words to communicate, saved a grove of trees from being logged in Washington State. Those trees became known as Tiva's Sacred Grove.

With Tiva's heroic action in mind, the Children's Environmental Constitution, Kids4Earth was founded in 1997 in Ojai, California, in the belief that every child is a potential hero in the planetary expansion of global consciousness, and that every child holds a thread of the new environmental tapestry.

Every child is born with an innate sense of the sacred, and every child can be a part of the resurrection-a living testament to the future of the Earth.
